After five years in the professional motorsports, Kia hosted the event outside Las Vegas to let people know that they did not make the decision to invest in racing easily.  This also marks the car company’s 20 year anniversary of being in the United States.  What better way to celebrate.

Kia had only one engine issue during the first year of racing and over the last five years they have experienced success as well.  Racing wins and successes are key to establishing a quality automobile and the efforts the car company puts into racing is child’s play compared to the leaps and bounds they make every year with their automotive line they introduce.  Kia’s long term goal with racing will be to develop higher classes of sports car racing and developing a grassroots racing scene.

2014 Kia Soul, Updates That Impress

It is refreshing when a car company takes a very popular vehicle and made it even better.  They changed the fog light positions and gave it a backpack style tailgate.  It is a much cleaner shape and the lines are a little softer.

Other improvements include LED lights on most models and chrome door handles.  There is also a panoramic sunroof on higher-spec models.  More features added inside are a circular ripple design replacing the square touches combined with the soft touch instrument panel and the leather covered steering wheel and gearlever.  All of this makes the cabin much more attractive than the previous models.

The 2014 KIA Soul Is Ready to Amaze

Round Rock KIA welcomes Manny Ramirez to the Express

Like Round Rock KIA, Manny Ramirez is new to town!

The 12-time All-Star for Boston Red Sox who also played for Oakland, Los Angeles and Tampa Bay is now swinging for a chance to help the Texas Rangers Major League Baseball Club.  However, first he must show that he still has what it takes to be a major leaguer.

Manny has a lifetime .312 batting average and 555 home runs.  In Taiwan he hit .352 and had 8 homers for the Rhino’s baseball club.  He didn't waste any time getting in the swing of things in his latest bid to return to the big leagues.  The 41-year-old sported a new haircut and singled the first pitch thrown in his debut for the Triple-A Round Rock Express on Sunday after joining the Texas Rangers on a minor league contract.
